computer showing no signal

my computer is showing no signal. i tried everything from cleaning fans, cleaning heatsink, and still nothing. one question i wanted to ask. i believe it has something to do wth the mother. if i were to replace a cmos battery, i'm not sure will it work. but one thing i wanted to ask. how can you tell what cmos battery is rechargable or not? can anyone help me?

also...say if the cmos battry dies, could i recharge it? and what volt does it takes?
if anyone can give me extra info, then i'll be glad

You don't recharge the CMOS battery, just get a new one, they are all the same. Is the computer turning on at all? If not at all it may be the power supply. Also make sure all the cords are in properly, the power supply is not switched to off if there is a power switch on it and that it's on the right voltage for your country.
