Computer shuts off abruptly..

Hello everyone!
I bought gtx 750 and corsair vs450 today and installed them into my computer.
Everything was fine but my pc is getting off like someone removes the powerplug.
My pc is making loud noises
To check that i opened it and saw that
My psu is making a loud sound like grinding..
Is my psu is defective?
It is brand new and its name is corsair vs450..

It sometimes shuts after 40mins or 15mins or sometimes it also keeps working for 3 hrs non stop

If the power supply is making noises and you are having issues, if you just bought it send it back under warranty before you kill something in your system.

+1 There should be no grinding noises coming from a pc. Possibly a bad fan in the psu causing it to overheat thus shutting down.
