So I've recently upgraded to a R9 390 and I was testing it out on TW3 and having some fun. After about an hour or so of playing my PC randomly shut off. It's happened 3 times so far and now I'm afraid to play any graphically intensive games. I tried putting a more aggressive fan curve on it and keep it cool, that wasn't the problem. I feel like it must be a problem with my PSU, but I have a 750 watt PSU and upgrading just seems stupid to me.

mobo: asrock Z75 PRO3
GPU: MSI R9 390 OC
CPU: i7 3770
PSU: Corsair CS750M

Shutting off after a while of intensive use sounds a lot like some sort of thermal problem, but it could be anywhere, motherboard VRM, PSU, PSU cables/connectors, GPU, memory..... I'd start out by opening my case and looking for hotspots (I have an IR temperature probe)

How old is your PSU; the main capacitors might have passed their 'best by'? What GPU did you replace with the new 390?
