Alright so to start off, my computer has been shutting down. Basically the video card has been getting up to 107c then the entire system shuts down. I have tried reapplying the thermal pace to the video card. No difference, an odd thing if I open a game it will go up to 90 and continue to heat up but if I close the game it will still continue to heat up. So basically I'm guessing its either the video card or the power supply, let me know what you guys think.

It could be the firmware of the card. You need to google that specific card's firmware, check with the manufacturer to see if they can help you with flashing a better firmware version for that card. I would guess the card is OC-ing when gaming and then it keeps the higher freq. If you could run a program (like GPU-Z or GPU monitor) to verify that it would be helpful.
