Computer start-up issues

Hey guys, so my computer has been having start-up issues recently. I've been having to reboot the computer a few times in order for it to start-up properly. Sometimes it freezes on the black screen with the blinking cursor. Sometimes the computer will just turn off while it's booting up. I usually have to boot up at least 3 times for it to load properly. Do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? Is this something I should be extremely worried about?
