Hello!

I recently bought a new H81M-C Motherboard to begin a new build. I was very excited, but I'm tackling a problem that I can't seem to comprehend. After wiring the Motherboard correctly, I am able to start the computer, but the monitor that it's connected to does not detect the start. The monitor resumes its sleep mode, and does not acknowledge the computer starting at all.

I tried numerous things. First of all, I found out that I was using a 20 pin 300W PSU for a 24 pin 350W Motherboard. I decided to get a 24 pin 450W PSU from another computer and hook it all up. Still no change. I have removed the CMOS battery to try and reset the BIOS, to no change. I disconnected and reconnected everything, even hardware. I used the same hardware (Except RAM) on a different Motherboard, and the monitor connected and everything booted just fine. I have tried connecting the Monitor to the VGA slot on the motherboard, and tried the DMI port of my ATI Radeon 5770 HD, to no avail.
-NOTE: All fans spin, and the HDD powers up as well. Everything seems functional, and the motherboard light glows.

I'm totally stuck. Even with a correct wattage, all the cables connected correctly, all jumpers assigned to their correct pins, and so on; the display does not show.

What can I do? Any questions that might help you answer I will do my best to find an answer for. I'm hoping this is a matter of something simple... I've spent far too much money already.

THANKS!
