Hello helpers. I just built a new system and went into my old one for the graphics card. While there I noticed how awful the cables looked compared to the new case.
I thought to clean it up some. Removed the cooler and reapplied the thermal paste from an Intel core i5-2500k on a P8 Z68-V Pro motherboard that worked for years perfectly . It then failed to go into the bios.
I see the led dram light stay on then reboot and stay on. I tried the mem ok button but nothing changes. I also notice the cpu led flashes once every new start.
Tried everything I can think of. Removed the board, rerouted the cables, and did the remove battery thing. Messed around with swapping the memory in different slots.
I would love some ideas where to go next.
