I've got a mystery-hope someone has got a clue. Motherboard with socket 775,Intel P4 3.0,915p chipset,4gb DDR2 400 memory,4MBit FWH Bios,700w power unit,NVidea graphic card and 1Tb western hard drive. They all work well together and tested on another computer. Here's the problem - I turn the unit on and it starts off like it always has I get a short beep informing it passed post, then it checks my memory with no problems found and as it goes it the next phase of boot - it just stops. No beeps, messages, or any activity at all. The next phase it would normally be the readout of harddrives and optical drives and then all the other componets it found. But it just sits there and the only option I have is to shutdown or hit the reset button which will only repeat the same cycle. I have tried everything that a person would try in this situation and a few that were way over top, but to no avail. Has anybody got idea whats wrong? I just got done taking the motherboard out of its case and installing it in different case with completely different componets, drives, power supply, memory.and it does the same thing. Open to any suggestion! xxxxxx@xxxxxxx.net <edited out e-mail address>
