Hello to whom ever is reading this, so my computer had went through a normal update that usually happens to my computer every now and then, after when the computer rebooted and I tried browsing the internet I got certificate errors. Which say "There is a problem connecting securely to this website" and I tend to play a lot of video games and when I try running my video game and joining a server it gives me an error and I'm not able to join. I tried going on Skype and logging in and it says "Set the correct date and time on your device to sign in to Skype" I check my date and time settings they're all up to date and there is nothing wrong with them. I'm just bumped and I have no idea what to do, any suggestions would help. Thanks!

I get this issue if I set it to auto. I don't know why, but it has never worked properly in Win10. You need to turn off "Set Timezone Automatically". If it is set to auto, it won't set the correct zone for some unknown reason. Although your local time will appear correct. To applications, your time is off by a few hours (depending on location).

To recap, you need to manually set your timezone then reset the clock. Then check your BIOS clock and reset if needed. Then back to windows and fix the time there if needed.

havnt had this issue with 10 as i set it when i fresh boot but i set them on purpose but then i get updates ahead of the world being in NZ tho i got a few m8s around the world having this issue make sure your bios time &^date is set correctly can throw it out with 0 updates

Try this:

1) Go to Control Panel and click Date and Time.
2) In the Date and Time window that opens click the Internet Time tab.
3) Click on the Change Settings button.
4) If it's not already set, change the server to, "time.windows.com" (without quotes) and click the Update Now button.
5) Check Browsing, Skype, and games for continued errors.
