Computer turned off and on a few times before turning on permanently

I just built a new computer and when I turned it on for the first time, it turned on and off a few times before turning on for good. I was just asking to see if that is a problem, or if that is okay since it is the first startup. Any help is welcome, thank you guys!

Sounds like the motherboard was trying to find a ram configuration that works.
Test your ram with memtest86
You should be able to complete a full pass with NO errors.

Does everything seem to run OK?

yeah, everything is working fine now, i will try using that!
