Hey guys I'm a long time spectator and a first time poster.

So I went tried turning on my pc today and I could hear it running but there was no display, and yes it is a desktop pc. Here's a bit of info:

Computer Specs:
•MotherBoard - ASRock890GM Pro3
•Core - AMD Phenom™ II X4
•RAM - 2x2GB kingston sticks (4GB total)
•HDD - 1TB WD Black

Steps I took to diagnose problem:

•Used different display
•used different display cable
•used a graphics card instead of onboard graphics
(After all these the display wasn't working still so I tried some other stuff)
•tried using a different hard drive on the system, no result
•cleaned fans and everything then applied new thermal paste (no result)

I was wondering if it could be a motherboard issue, seeing its About 5 years old...

Thanks for the reply XxD34THxX, my motherboard never makes any noise at startup and still doesn't so there are no beeps. Also forgot to mention my wireless keyboard also keeps saying no connection so I'm starting to think it is dead.

You have talking keyboard but silent motherboard...

When you say, you can hear it running, you mean the fans? Are there any lights on the motherboard? Can you enter BIOS by tapping on F2 after you power on?
Was there any light or fan movement on the add on video card? Also there are settings in BIOS to make both cards work at the same time.
Did you try different output? Is it single monitor? Is there any HDMI connected? Some time computer confuses what port to send video to. Try to use different port.

Most likely motherboard is dead. Take out the RAM, then boot up. If no beeps emerge, then motherboard is truly dead.

Right now I'm using the onboard graphics with a VGA cable. I decided to take all the wires off the motherboards and put them back in to make sure theres no loose wires and now the computer seems to work fine. and also i figured there is a speaker but it isn't connected to the motherboard.
