Computer turns off when confirmation of CMOS settings of date and time

Thanks in advance for any help...

Problem for a few months is that my computer got wet (pee) from 2 year old son and it hasn't worked since.

I then narrowed it down to the possibly the Motherboard. I replaced the motherboard to AsRock z75 pro3 and new 2 -4gb sport DDR3 1600 crucial ballistix.

Now when I power the computer on it gets to the CMOS setup page to confirm and when I press F2 to check the time and date settings the computer than shuts off.

Full specs: i5 2500k, asrock z75 pro 3, 2 -4gb sport DDR3 1600 crucial ballistix, Cooler Master Seidon 120M - PC CPU Liquid Water Cooling System, All-In-One Kit with 120mm Radiator and Fan, corsair cx 600 watt, and Kingston 60 gb ssd.

It might be a heating issue. Try cleaning the old paste, reapplying new one, installing the Intel stock cooler and testing.

Performed all steps. When the ram is not in the slot, it will stay on but of course will not have any access to BIOS.

Same issue with computer shutting off if adding RAMs?

Yes. Without RAMM it will stay on.
With RAMM (1 stick or 2 sticks) it will turn off as soon as I press on F2 it shuts off.

Since the board is new, then the next component to suspect is the CPU. Is it under warranty?

Its 3 years old. I am going to check out my ramm tomorrow at my brothers house with his comp. Would bad RAM cause this?

Hard to say. But you can test it.

Tested out the old ram and it worked. I ordered a new cpu and just waiting for that to arrive. Will be updating once I install.

Installed new cpu and it is still doing the same thing... Maybe the board was bad?

Not sure what the issue is. A local shop might help in troubleshooting.
