Computer turns off

Hello guys . After I replaced my thermal paste 2 days ago , when I turn on my computer and after few seconds it shutdowns instantly and after few seconds it starts up again and works fine.

Does anyone know the cause , why it happens ? Can it be a PSU problem or similar ?

Spec :

16 gb ram ddr3
AsRock x58 EXTREME
Nvidia gtx 460 PALIT
CPU : Intel core i7 950 3.07 ghz socket 1366 LGA
PSU Cougar Powerx 550w
Windows 8.1 x64
Storage : 119 gb liteonit LCS-128M6S & 1TB Hitachi HDT721010SLA360 I think

I just opened the case , I did not see any signs that it leaked I used really a small amount . It happened again when I connected the case back , I also check my CPU's heat level its on 40c and my room is about 25 or more not sure , its pretty hot in here , while the entire pc is cold

I also just checked if it was fastened down it is .
