I just recently purchased the CORSAIR RGB Pro 16x2 GB 3000MHZ ram to upgrade my system. I looked at the manual to install it in the right slots and then after booting up the system, it turns on for a few seconds, turns off, then repeats indefinitely. I'm not sure if I need to go into my bios settings to adjust my motherboard to run overclocked for this kind of RAM, but I cannot even boot into the Bios.
I've heard other places that I should clear CMOS while still having the RAM installed, and that it should help the motherboard recognize the RAM, but otherwise I do not know why this should be happening. My computer works fine with my 2x8GB GSkill Ripjaws.
here is my motherboard for reference: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-X99-Gaming-G1-WIFI-rev-10#ov
