Computer turns on when I push in the 24pin power connector

My computer wont turn on when I press the power button, but it does when I press down on the 24pin power connector. When I do, the ezdebug cpu led is on.

Specs:
I5-9600k
Gtx 980ti
Msi z370a pro
Gskill ripjaws v ddr4 3200
Thermaltake 650 watt rgb psu

Update: This only happens on this motherboard, when I plug it into my z270 motherboard it works

Yea same here. My motherboard won't turn on with power button, but it will with the power connector with a tiny simple push.
