Computer typing vowels

So recently my keyboard is only allowing me to press vowels with accents and this means i can't get in my pc. What can I do!?!??

Go to your settings->Time&Language->Region&Language->then select your region correctly, and below, click on the language you want to use and press Set as Default.

Unfortunately I am locked out and can't get into settings. However I restarted and now it worked. However when I then try again I get the same problem. It's just annoying if I have to start twice to be able to get into my pc

Hmm that's strange but when you start up and you're on login screen, in bottom right corner I think there will be an image of keyboard or maybe access icon that you can click and it'll give you the option to open touch keyboard. You click on it, and when it opens, in bottom right corner it will have one key that will show what language is currently selected. If it says anything other than ENG, click on it and select english instead.

As to why it keeps reverting, again make sure you go into your settings, and set english as default once you're able to get in.

Ok maybe I'll switch the keyboard to another setting and then restore to default and see if that works
