Computer vibrates/makes a low humming noise.

I just got a new PC and for some reason it makes a humming noise that gets really irritating and I wish I could stop it somehow. If I tip the tower to the left or the right the humming stops but that's kind of in-convenient. My tower is sitting on a piece of wood that's sitting on my carpet. My front feet for the tower are rubber and the back feed are just plastic! Is there someway I can stop this humming noise like some certain way to position my computer or like a certain object is should sit on? Please help! From Keagan! (Sorry if I put this under the wrong category I couldn't find one that fits this!)

That humming noise could be from the chokes (coil), this is called Coil Whine and its normal and does no damage to your components.

Since you find it annoying, you buy some coil whine dampening material to reduce the noise.
