Computer will not turn on!

Good evening. I am in need of some serious help with my PC. I built it about a year ago and haven’t had any issues until Monday night. All of a sudden it turned off and hasn’t turned on since. A few things to note... I am. I’m not super experienced with comps but do my homework as much as possible before I ask. I bought a new PSU as I thought that was the issue but came home and did the test with the provided tester and the fan turns on (EVGA 750w G2) so it’s not the PSU. I stripped the computer down to just the MOBO (Asus z270-AR) and still nothing. I did notice the MOBO’s pwr_sw led is blinking green so it has to be getting power I think? I have held the button and also the memOk button with no luck. Rest of the specs on the comp are.. Asus 1080ti, 2x ddr4, i7-7700, 1ssd, 1hdd. Any help is greatly appreciated.

When the system is breadboarded with no discrete GPU and only the boot drive, do you get to BIOS and subsequent GUI of OS?

I just read a post elsewhere it could be the cmos battery? Anyone heard of this?

No does nothing and no rgb lights or anything. Just the blinking green light.
