Specs:
B450 tomahawk max
rtx 3060 12gb
Ryzen 7 5800x
16gb (2x8gb) corsair vengeance lpx pro rgb

After my computer randomly shut down about a week ago, I tried restarting it for it to not post, and it had a dram light after the cpu light flashed for a second. I took out one of the ram sticks and it started, but i tried putting the old one back in for it to not work. I then took out both and put the one i originally took out in and it started. Since then, I haven’t been able to even get it started with one ram stick in. Does anyone have any advice for a situation like this?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

You wont get a POST on your motherboard if you don't populate the rams per the motherboard manual. per your case, 2 sticks of ram go into slots A2 and B2. If using one stick of ram, populate slot A2;

make sure the ram is fully seated.

did you update the bios when you used the ryzen 7 5800x it needs a bios update to run properly on b450 tomahawk max. ( second person today who's had a ram issue with this board today)
