Computer won't boot up unless I switch the RAM slot (Everytime)

When I press the power button, I see no signal on the monitor until I switch the RAM slot randomly. After that, I tried to turn the computer off and on again and the same problem occurred. I had to switch the RAM slot again in order to get the computer boot up. I am using a Crucial Ballistix sport 1600Mhz 4GBx2. I wasn't sure whether it was the motherboard connection issue or I have been using a faulty RAM. Things run perfectly well during the previous few months then it happened to me after windows 10 gave me a bluescreen. Can anyone tell me how to test whether I am having the faulty RAM or motherboard?
CPU : Intel i5-4690K
RAM : Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3-1600
Motherboard : Gigabyte z97-HD3 Ver.2
Graphics Card : MSI GTX 970
PSU : EVGA 600B

you may have burnt out something n a blue screen? if you have to re seat your ram sticks before booting. id think there s a problem with the mobo/slot or ram sticks . do you have any other ram stick to try ?

i believe there is a program that you can download for free to test individual components in your pc.
maybe seatools ?
if anyone else has the name of the program chime in. i have forgotten
