So i recently bought a new video card. I took out my old one and realised that i needed and 8pin power connector for it. So i needed to buy an adapter for it. I put in my old graphics card again and now when i start my computer. I hear all the fans and the light starts to shine. After a brief 15 seconds it turns of and everything goes quiet. And then after 10 seconds it repeats this. Im not really a PC genius and need to know possible sources of this problem. I have 2 monitors and have tried them booth. I only have keyboard, mouse and monitor connected. I will be thankfull for every kind of help i can get.
NOTE: monitor is black, no error screen whatsoever. Now i have reset the BIOS by changing the jumper from slot 1 to 2 to 2 and 3 and then back. Still shuts off after 10 secs after boot. No monitor response.
