Computer won't even begin to turn on

Earlier this evening I went to press the space-bar as I'd left my computer and it went to sleep. As I did this it turned off instantly and now clicking the on button seems to do absolutely nothing, as if it isn't even attached. It's been playing up for the last few weeks restarting randomly for no reason and I assume this is linked to that. Any advice on what may be wrong or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. It's a midrange gaming pc if that's any help.

I believe you can test it with a paper clip. There are plenty of videos on youtube showing you how to do it.

I'm not fully sure how to find the specs without turning it on. I know it didn't have an SSD because it turns on so slowly, it's graphics card is a radeon 7700 and it has a singular very loud smallish fan. I'm aware that might not be very helpful.

Prebuilt from one of those websites like Newegg or something. It's probably about 5 years old by now and I haven't changed any parts so I guess it's possible one of them failed. Was relatively clean so probably not caused by that.

When the restarts happen are you opening any applications or playing any games? Is it possible to somehow find what the prebuilt PC's name is?

It kind of sounds like something that's wrong with the power supply. Not too sure. Have you gone through the other advices like reseating RAM and stuff?

I googled that and will try it, is there anything else to try that might be a problem and could be done?, Also is there a way to work out if the power supply is the problem. Thanks for this help by the way
