Computer won't post

As a preface, this is my first build and really my first experience with a PC, and I am very new to learning about computers.

I'm working with:
Intel i3-6300
Asus Z170M-Plus
Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4-2400 Memory
Corsair CS450M PSU
Samsung EVO 250 SSD

I'm getting no beeps at all after powering on the system. Case fans and CPU fans are spinning and the green power light on the motherboard lights up.

Tried out my RAM in another functioning system and it responded with one long beep and two short beeps. Not sure how relevant that information is, but I figured it couldn't hurt to include.

Also, the box that my CPU came in was damaged, is it possible that it could have been bumped or dropped in shipping and is now defective and that's the issue?

The beep is for the motherboard not detecting a crucial component. Like the ram

Reassemble, then try again.
