Hello, I have recently thrown together a new computer. I have done this countless times before, but this time it won't turn on. I press the power button and it flashes but does not do anything else. Here is a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dWvBQVhOrzeoaTqDbTT5sgUI0-DyA-rk/view?usp=sharing In this video, I am using a metal rod to turn on the computer, I think it is shorting something, but I am not sure how it works. I know the power supply isn't faulty, as you can see, the green light is on on the motherboard. Any help is appreciated!

Double check and make sure ALL cables are going in the right way. Id especially check your PSU to MOBO connections, make sure you hear a slight click when you put them into the MOBO.

I unconnected and reconnect the two cords from the PSU to the MOBO and still no dice. I tried a different test, connecting the green wire with the black wire, and the PSU will power on as long as I keep the paper clip in. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dn1-r5bjpkb5D8A90gufLCzoEu8an8VX/view?usp=sharing I connected the green wire with a different black wire and it stuttered (on off on off on off). Is this normal?

Wow, that was not smart. The back of my case fell off and I saw that the standoffs were not there. I took off the motherboard and screwed in the standoffs. Yay! It worked like magic. Lol.
