Hi,
So recently, I built my new computer and I was testing out some of my new Maximus VII Hero motherboard. So in AI suite 3, I found a USB 3.0 Booster and so I tried it with my then-recognisable Seagate portable external hard drive. After updating the BIOS again in the EzUpdates section, the external hard drive became unrecognised by the computer. It didn't show up in disk management, and also this PC. It showed up in the BIOS and also device manager with a different name "Expansion" and a caution sign saying. In the properties, it states that the Manufacturer is unknown and that "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device."
I tried using the hard drive on another computer and everything was fine and showed up perfectly and now, I'm out of any leads to go on. Any help would be appreciated.
