A couple of weeks ago I started having a strange problem. Sometimes, while gaming, my screen would suddenly go black while the audio kept playing. Sometimes restarting the computer fixed the issue, but other times I needed to open up my computer and reseat everything to get it to work. When I eventually got it to work, I would usually get the message "display drivers failed to start". A couple of days ago this happened again, but it didn't happen while gaming. This time it just refused to work when I booted up my pc. The card would not light up and the fans would not spin. I decided to use this as an opportunity to upgrade, and I purchased a new motherboard and graphics card, but once again i do not get a signal from the graphics card. The card lights up and the fans spin, but my computer does not detect the card. I have tested both my old and new cards, but both have the same results. Luckily I do get a signal when i plug straight into my motherboard. Could i possibly be having a software problem, or could it be something else? And if it is a software problem, how do I go about reinstalling my drivers when my computer won't recognize the card?
