to see if it a driver issue or hardware. if you can pull the data or power plug from the hard drive see if the acer logo shows up at all or if the issue still there. if the issue still there then you have a power supply or video card issue. if the pc has a small video card and onboard video with the power off try pulling out the gpu see if the unit will post to onboard video. if not then your stock power supply may have failed. i would gogole the model see if there any system board recalles/ cap issue on your unit. if your unit is under warranty let the vendor fix it. if it out of warranty and the pc uses a stock power supply pick up a good 520w seasonicv power supply.
