[SOLVED] Computer Won't Start, Sparks

Took most components out of my computer, cpu, cpu cooler, gpu etc. Cleaned them... Once put back in nothing will happen when pressing the start button. However, if I push the 24 pin connector for the motherboard down hard it will turn on for a millisecond or maybe a whole second it just depends. Also sparks come up every now and then when I push down. Not sure if it is shorting or what is happening.

That’s exactly what’s happening. Deconstruct everything, you may have to replace most of your system.

Should I fully deconstruct then put everything in 1 by 1 assuming some things work?

Yep, that’s probably the best idea. Make sure the power supply isn’t damaged.

How do I figure that out?

Charring, turn it around a couple of times and if stuff falls out then don’t turn it on, etc.

turns out the cpu wasnt seated properly and hence bent a few pins, managed to bend them back and it's all working properly. Thank you for your time.
