I shipped my PC across country stuffed with anti-static bubble wrap and surrounded by bubble wrap+styrofoam. This worked the last three times I did it, but not this time. Plastic parts of the front panel of my case broke off, and it wouldn't turn on when it arrived.
At first, the CPU and PSU fans would spin, but not the case fans, and orange light on the motherboard blinked with no beeps, and nothing would come on my display. I reseated everything (RAM, GPU, CPU and re-did the cable plugs) and I removed the CMOS battery for five minutes. I will note I also did something dumb - the orange light suggested a RAM issue, so I grabbed some RAM out of another PC to test, not realizing it was DDR3 - I'm not sure how it fit into DDR4 slots but I did jam it in there.
Now, same thing - PSU and CPU fans spin but not case fans - but instead of the blinking orange light I get one long beep followed by two short beeps over and over. My motherboard manual says this: "One continuous beep followed by two short beeps then a pause (repeated): No memory detected." I tried brand new DDR4 RAM sticks and this still happens. The new RAM sticks do work because I put them in another system. Video of the beeps: View: https://imgur.com/gallery/2zw7Rgm
