Computer wont turn on

The front power button on my computer doesn't work, the computer only turns on when i unplug and re-plug the cords from the PSU to the motherboard.
is this just because the power button cable is broken?

nick.metzgerx, I would get in contact with case manufacture as regularly those cables are attached to the chassis.

You might see if you can swap the Power Button cable with the Reset Button cable. They are both momentary switches that can be swapped.
