Computer wont turn on?

my friend has a asus M5A78L-M LX and he has a k60 and a microsoft comfort keyboard. it was doing fine and when he changed the case, the comp turns on, says no keyboard detected and shuts down in 15 seconds. no keyboards work. well we only tested 2. and we made sure they work by plugging it into a different computer. any suggestions? i already tried taking out the battery for a minute.

Are you plugging the keyboard into the motherboard usb ports? If not, try switching to one of those.
