Computer won't Wake from Sleep when using DisplayPort cable to GPU

Hello all.

This is my first PC build, and I've been working out all the quirks of it for about a week now. I believe this is the last major problem I need to fix, and I have not found any other threads with similar problems to mine.

I can boot the computer just fine. The problem arises whenever I put the computer into sleep mode and try to wake it up. Upon waking, the fans will turn on and the LEDs will light up, but the system won't boot. Instead, the motherboard alternates between the DRAM light and the CPU light, with each having a Q-code of 01 and 03 respectively.

As far as I can tell, this only happens whenever the DisplayPort cable is plugged into the NVIDIA GPU. Whenever I plug into the onboard GPU, no such problem occurs. Similarly, if I use an HDMI cable on the NVIDIA GPU, it works just fine. The only issue here is that, from my understanding, the only way for me to get 144 Hz on my monitor is to use a DisplayPort connection.

I have tried checking all the RAM sticks, and booting without the GPU. I've updated BIOS and cleared the CMOS. I've checked my PSU connections to both locations on the motherboard and GPU. I'm not sure what else I can do other than maybe try replacing the monitor, but that would take a while to get another DP compatible monitor, as well as be quite expensive.

Please help, and thank you for your time.

Solution
Nevermind, I figured out a solution.

The DP cable must have been at fault, because I bought a new one for $20 on amazon, it was the only VESA certified one I could find. Plugged that sucker in and it worked like a charm.
