So I just upgraded my Graphics Card from a Radeon 7570 to a GTX 650 Ti. I turned it on after going to sleep and it beeps. I then googled on my phone what the beeps mean, and counted the beeps, I got 6. I assumed to would be a processor issue, but then Windows 8 booted. And I logged in and it works fine. Should I be concerned? Any problems I may have?

EDIT: I restarted because I assume y'all would want me to, and no more beeps, it booted fine.

Specs:

Intel i7 3770k
GTX 650 Ti
Corsair 500W Power Supply
1 TB Hard Drive
1 Monitor (1920 x 1080)

Solution
If you switched graphics cards when the computer was in sleep mode, it was probably your BIOS trying to fast boot the AMD card and failing.

Even if you chose "shut down" in Windows 8, the computer is not cleared of data like old OS:es did.
It uses UEFI to cache a bunch of stuff. Includiing GPU drivers and firmware.

The thing is, it worked fine yestarday, this isn't my first boot with the card, it's my 3rd, 1 to test, 1 to setup, and 1 to use. I never had beeps on any of those, only today, 13 hours after I shut down my PC, do I get the beeps.

I also switched the power supply while upgrading my card, so everything was unplugged.
