Hi!

I have an Asus Sabertooth 990FX motherboard, and after reading on their website their QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for RAM, I'm a bit worried.

I have 4x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws X RAM (1866). When I looked under the 1866 table for QVL, I see G.Skill, but it only lists 4GB and 8GB total RAM on the list, and not 16GB.

Is this something I should be worried about or am I fine?

That's what I'm reading from.

All the QVL means is that the memory listed in it have been tested by Asus to work with that motherboard. If your RAM is not in the list, it simply means that Asus has not tested it.

This does NOT mean that your RAM WILL not work, just that it hasn't been tested. You might go on the G.Skill website and see if they have tested your ram in that motherboard.

You could also just install the memory and see if there are any issues..
Good Luck!
