MSI Z170A Gaming M5 says: it support DDR4-3600+(OC) Memory
but my processor says: Memory Types DDR4-1866/2133, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V
and the my choice in ram is GSkill Ripjaws V 16GB Dual DDR4 3200

does
MSI Z170A Gaming M5 MOBO
Intel Core i5-6600K 3.50-3.90GHz Skylake Proccesor
and
GSkill Ripjaws V 16GB Dual DDR4 3200

COMPATIBLE ??

Solution
THIS is my New Set up thank to all that shared their ideas

if i need to improve me ill be likely to consider anyone's suggestion

MOBO: MSI Z170A Gaming M5
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 3GB Gddr5 192Bit
MEMORY: GSkill Ripjaws V 16GB Dual DDR4 2400 CL15
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-6400 2.70-3.30GHz Skylake
PSU: Seasonic G-650 650Watts 80Plus Gold Modular Power Supply
SSD: Galax Gamer 120GB SSD
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda
COOLING SYSTEM: ID Cooling Frostflow 240L Liquid Cooling
OS: Microsoft Windows HOME 10 64-bit oem

I didn't pick an unlocked proccesor coz im thinking about not to overclock
and ill be upgrading to i7 later on

im open for more suggestions
It's compatible, but i'd advise against overclocking the RAM

If you are gaming it will bring you no benefit, while costing you more money and shortening the life of the RAM.

RAM speed is almost never the bottleneck in gaming.

so does it mean all 3 parts are compatible ?

DO I REALLY NEED TO OVERCLOCK EVEN IM ONLY PLAYING DOTA2 and other console games with highres ? i dont edit videos

Overclocking the CPU has a linear effect on cpu performance

overclocking RAM does not.

But it really depends on how balanced your system is.

Is it gaming you want it for?
If you have a weak gpu and a strong cpu overclocking your cpu makes no difference.
But if you have a strong gpu and weak cpu overclocking the cpu will increase performance.
Overclocking RAM won't have an effect in either scenario.

thank you .. ive learned a lot in this forums

sorry for too much posting of similar posts hehe
