[SOLVED] Confused About Which CPU To Get? Need Advice

I'm coming from a PC Build I did myself 7 yrs ago i7-3770K, GTX 780, 16GB of DDR3 1600Mhz Ram. At 62 yrs old my eyes are not what they used to be so I decided to go with a pre-build, maybe an Alienware. The problem is I'm confused as to which CPU to start with. I've been hearing good things about Ryzen and the Zen 3's are releasing shortly but I'm leaning on Intel for two reasons.

1. This will be a Gaming Rig, I don't have a 4K set so it's currently 1080P.
2. Intel is tried and true.

My confusion starts because all of the 10th Gen Intel CPU's are so damn close in performance. It appears the "sweet spot" is the Six Core i5-10600KF. It gives the i7-10700K a run for it's money and the i7-10700K gives the i9-10900K a run for it's money when it comes to Gaming.

My concern is that the i5-10600K is just a Six Core CPU while the i7-10700K is an Eight Core CPU. I'm trying to have this build last at least 5 yrs playing AAA titles on Ultra.

My current target is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Should I go with the i5-10600KF, a i7-10700K or maybe wait for the Ryzen 4xxx to show up?

I can't give much input on the rest but I wanted to pop in to say Alienware is notoriously over priced. Maybe they got better over the years but I would avoid them if you ask me

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I recently priced an Intel spec Alienware Aurora 11 and priced the components ( CPU, GPU, Case, Ram, SSD, Power Supply ) on Newegg and Amazon and surprisingly Alienware would cost me around $150 more. So having it put together for $150, free shipping and 12 month 0% interest finance makes the Alienware appealing.

Alas I still haven't made a decision because those 14nm Intel CPU's are so close in performance and the new Ryzen's I am reading may leapfrog the 10th Gen Intel CPU's in gaming performance.

If it's purely gaming you want, I'd go with the i9 9900K or i9 10900K. I'm just coming from a i7 2600K system I built nearly 10 years ago and decided to go AMD this time. The 3900X is a beast processor all around. Intel might have given me a handful of frames more for games, but I'm not a big time gamer anyways
