as i posted a thread earlier about that upgrading my current pc is worthwile or building a new pc is.Then i got answer to build a new pc.so i am considering to build pc(a gaming pc) with an i7 6700k.i like asus but i am a little bit confused about which motherboad should i choose from their wide range of z170 mobos.i want this build to be future proof and heavy duty.i have a budget of 400$ for mobo.any help would be appreciated.

Solution
The 6700k outperforms the 6800k usually in Gaming. Single Core Speed is more important except for a few exceptions.

As for the Asus Lineup:

ASUS Z170-[letter] is the budget series, with the Z170-A being the first really good Board
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming / Pro Gaming Aura is the Premium Line
Asus Z170 Maximus is the enthusiast line
With the Sabertooth being a relict of an older series that I think ASUS will end with the Z170 Sabertooth.

Usually an Asus Pro Gaming is all you need.
I can make a much better combo of CPU/mobo for $720 (i7 + $400) if you would like. Includes 6 cores and a X99 board.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i7-6800K 3.4GHz 6-Core Processor ($428.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus X99-A II ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard ($219.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $648.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Its a X99 system with 6 cores, better than a complete overkill mobo with a i7-6700k.

it is a good build but i7 6800k has only 3.4ghz speed and after oc it will only acquire 3.6ghz speed.so does it is good for gaming

Yes, it is good for gaming and rendering. And the 3.6 GHz is just turbo, you can probably OC the base clock to 4 GHz.

Solution

my bad luck is that i have already ordered the 6700k

Oh, ok.

Then a http://pcpartpicker.com/product/tBZ2FT/asus-motherboard-maximusviiihero is a good board.

so which is good asus gaming pro or aus maximus viii hero

why not maximus series mobos

thank you for answering my previous thread

The Maximus is a nice Board.
But usually there's no reason to overspend on it because frankly it won't improve anything for you.

There are boards for 600$ as well. But there's 1 in a million users that need a board like that.

Generally the difference between a 100$ board and a 150$ board is often significant. The difference between a 150$ board and a 200$ board is not for most users.

so because of your suggestion i am picking up an asus z170 gaming pro.please suggest me a case and a cooler for it

depends on how much you want to spend and what you want to do with it.
do you plan on breaking overclocking records? the usual suggestion would be a Cryorig H7. if you think you need more cooling power, a Cryorig H5, a Phanteks TC-12DX or a Noctua U12S. if you want a pitch black build and a very decent cooler, bequiet's dark rock is a viable option, but depending on your location all of these can be very overpriced.
a good budget cooler would be the CM 212

as for cases: do you think you need a case with superior airflow because you share a wall with a sauna? do you mind noise or do you want some sound dampening? Do you want a very ostentatious, flashy case or a rather elegant one or do you want a case that's as frugal as possible?
do you need the option for an optical drive?
led lights?

i am using this processor

and because of your suggestion i am using this mobo
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132877
my budget is upto 800$ for mobo casing processor and fan and 500$ are spent on mobo and processor
i dont know how to overclock but i will definitely try..
i want my rig to be quiet.
i will order all things from newegg
for case:
i do need a quiet case
i need place for optical drive but i am not sure about led may be later i will put some
i want the case to be elegant and attractive with more space for future upgrades
please suggest me
