Currently using this computer and first I was having trouble because games would only show this:

In the drop-down menu that would be the only option, shouldn't it show the option for the R8 as well?

So then I checked the specs and it shows that I am supposed to have an AMD Radeon R8 M360 but after installing drivers directly from AMD, Device Manager shows:

The only mentions of the R8 I can find in my computer are in Radeon Settings and the Systems option of the PC:

So:

  • ■ Can someone explain what does [AMD A10 Extreme Edition Radeon R8, 4C + 8G] mean?
    ■ How can I set the R7 M360 (that says Linked) Primary for games?
    ■ How does Dual-Graphics work and should I use it?

Just in case, GPU-z screenshots:

Solution
AMD Quad-Core A10-8780P APU Processor- cpu with on board graphics chip embedded to the same cpu die. 8780P

A seprate fitted Mini pci-e graphics card fitted via expansion port.
: AMD Radeon™ R8 M360 Graphics with 2048MB DDR3

You laptop uses hybrid mode.

Where the power of the Apu of the cpu is combined with the R8 360 card.

To enable this you may have an option to cross fire the Apu and the R8 M360 pci-e graphics card of the laptop.

Some games when they auto detect the main graphics card get confused in reporting the graphics hardware detected.

But both above are part of your laptop the APU as part of the cpu.

Solution
you computer is using cross fire so it is actually using both to make it faster then just one or other... look at the bottom of gpuz picture... see it says crossfire enabled. so your computer is actually configured for best graphics already as it will preforme better then just one or the other alone.

what if you want to use only the R7 M365DX without crossfire enabled.
