Question Confusion about memory SPD speed

Hi gyus,

so a while ago I was given advice about getting a gpu.
Right now I'm running on the internal gpu of my processor.

The goal was to free up some memory for music production applications.
Unfortunatley I had to switch plans and thought about getting more RAM instead would also be a solution.

Here's some data about the system:
- MB: ASUS Rog Strix x670e a Wifi
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900
- RAM: 4x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 DRAM 6.000MT/s CL30 AMD EXPO (SPD Speed: 4.800)

Now, running 64GB with AMD EXPO at 6.000MT/s was all fine.
But when I added the second kit EXPO didn't work anymore. Read about it not being supported. Fine, than I'll countinue with 4.800 MT/s.

And looking at Armory Create and the BIOS, the target speed now ist 3.600 MHz.
CPU-Z instead shows 4.800 (2.400 MHz) at the SPD index.

I also tried reactivating EXPO and set the OC jumper as active but that didn't do a thing.
Also, I cleared CMOS.

Does somebody know, what this behaviour might be?
Am I getting something wrong?
I'm tending to returning the RAM, since I do believe, this configuration won't bring any advantage and I'll be ebtter off running with just 64GB, then.

Kind regards and thanks in advance.
