Question Confusion on parts and gaming PCs

Is now really a good time to build a gaming PC with covid and everything going on? I know sites and manufacturers are price gouging and ppl see it. So many parts cost a lot more than they usually do but will the prices get worse as i wait more? What do you think is now a good time to build a PC before prices get worse. My budget is 1100

Like 3 parts are out of stock on Newegg, bestbuy, amazon, and every site. Idk man all the parts the i want are not available and site are increasing the prices a lot rn so idk if now is a good time to build a pc
