Prebuilt Desktop PC: Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A-151CB

This website:Upgrades and Options, says I can have a max RAM of 32GB, but. 64GB is the answer I get when I do a search on Google, specific to my CPU. This search on Google, specific Model #, says only 16GB.
I already have 8GB RAM. But, even though I am not a gamer, that isn't enough.

CPU supports up to 64GB for i3 and up to 128GB for i5 and i7 (with 4 ram slots 4x32GB).
Your motherboard has 2 ram slots. So it is possible to install 2x32GB.

Lenovo support document says this:
Max Memory
Up to 32GB DDR4-2666
The max memory is based on the test results with current Lenovo® memory offerings. The system may support more memory as the technology develops.

Ok, What about speed? If the speed of the RAM n' the speed CPU don't match. Won't that fry the motherboard?
Motherboard has B360 chipset. Ram overclocking is not supported.
Ram will run at max 2666mhz.

See, This is why I asked.

Crucial's website says I can have 32GB of DDR4-3200: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/lenovo/ideacentre-510a-15icb

I am not trying to overclock.

You can't just go by the CPU max amount. I would say it's limited to 32GB a 2X16gb set. I don't think I would pay for more and it not work without contacting their support to make sure it can.

Notes:
Installed memory is actually 2666MHz, but may run at 2400MHz or 2666MHz depending on the memory support capability ofprocessor

2. The system may support more memory as thetechnology develops.

Then just go 2400. Memory speed makes little difference for Intel 8th and 9th Gen.

Likely that 3200 will just end up running at 2400 or 2666, depending on CPU (as per that Lenovo PDF).
