Connect an ATA Laptop HDD to desktop

I have a dead laptop, with a ATA laptop drive. I need a converter to connect it to a desktop, so I can pull the data.

Drive: Hitachi DK23EA-60

I've found this, but heard sometimes these don't work. Just wanted to confirm this is the right one.

If you want something more permanent get a USB HD enclosure of the correct type (IDE or SATA)
