I’m traveling to tx from ca and towing a car on a flatbed. If like to have a camera back there to see what’s behind the trailer. I have a Zmodo WiFi camera. I have a WiFi router. Can I power the WiFi, set the camera and phone to see the WiFi network. Then my phone should be able to see the camera, right?

Probably, but you may not have to. Doing a quick read of the literature, you can connect your phone directly to the Zmodo WiFi camera. Now, will that let you see the what the camera is recording? I'm not sure, test it to see. If not, the router should work. Watch out for settings that would stop network devices from speaking to each other (some routers have it, some don't).

Even though you "are" right; if what I can gather, from what was originally asked, is correct; it sounds like +ahl4one is not at all concerned with its' recording ability; it sounds purely, and simply as though he/she might be wanting to use it, as a "backup cam" of sorts; barring that you're spot on.
