connect multiple screens to form a huge mega screen?

can i buy multiple cheap frameless displays and connect them into a huge working screen? im sure i can, but how would i go on about doing this?

size im talking about would be something along the lines of 6 feet by 6 feet or bigger, the dispays can be 720 p, how would i go on about connecting them all together and working to show one picture?

also what i want to do is actually connect a surveillance camera to it, and have this mega display show live feed from the camera

also i would prefer for this to be stand alone, meaning without it being connected or ran by a computer. so mega screen made up of multiple screens and a camera giving it feed

Hey Rudolf29.
Multi-monitor setups are most definitely a possibility, but you're talking about using six or more monitors, which would require a lot more hardware to set up. If it is in any way possible, you would need a computer to run the camera's feed through (I think you'll need one regardless of the number of screens), and you would have to spend a lot on graphics cards. Otherwise what would be way cheaper (and much easier to set up) would be to buy an HD projector, that way you can can a fairly large display, unless you want to sit really close to it(?).
If I may ask.... Why do you want a security camera's feed on a mega-screen?
