I have a Canon MF4770n printer that supports networking through ethernet.. I was planning on connecting this printer to my work's network (which uses an authentication - WPA2 + acceptance of terms to connect to the internet). I connected the ethernet wire to the jack on the printer and tried to install the drivers for the printer, but the printer was not recognized. I found the IP address on the printer and tried to access the IP address on the computer to pull up the printer UI and that didn't work either.
I'm a bit lost on where to go from here or if this is even possible. I have the same printer at home connected to the ethernet , but I have no issues at home.
