Question Connect to Asus monitor from old graphics card

It would be great if I can get some advice on this one.

I have 2 new monitors which is this model here.

The graphics card is and Nvidia 550TI which has only 2 DVI outputs.

I did buy DP to DVI cables but the monitor would not display anything which means I probably have a useless cable.

I read that for this to work DP to DVI or is it DVI to DP is not possible to do and the only way it could work is DP to HDMI?

If so any idea on what cable I should buy to get this working?

Any links would be perfect if that is allowed.

Do you have a link for the specific cable you purchased?

When connected, did you try cycling your monitors manually through the input ports?

I did try to go through each connection but zero luck.
