Is It possible for me to extend the displays on serveral monitors using a x4 way hdmi splitter? I only have one hdmi output on my pc but I have the splitter with x4.

An HDMI splitter will give you 4 copies of the same display. Since you used the term "extend", I assume that is not what you want. There is no way to get 4 independent displays from one HDMI port. You could add a USB video adapter for an additional display. If you have USB C or Thunderbolt you can run displays off them.

Only DisplayPort supports multiple displays on a single port. HDMI/DVI/others do not support this capability. You can get splitters, but they will only duplicate a single monitor image on all screens.
