I have my ipod hooked up to an older receiver with the 6 speakers for surround sound to play in my house. I would like to use a bluetooth speaker at the same time outside to listen to was what is playing inside. Can this be done. Right now when I turn on the bluetooth the inside stops playing. I am having a party in a week and would really like for this to work.

Solution
The ipod cannot talk to receiver and the outside speaker at the same time.

So u must do: iPod --> Receiver --> outside Spkrs.

So u must add BT capability to receiver, more precisely a BT transmitter which u can get from amazon, and it would be hooked up to TAPE OUT, PRE OUT, HEADPHONE OUT etc of the receiver
