hope I am under the right forum but let’s get started.

I have a problem with my computer/keyboard which occurred 2 days ago. Basically it started with an error I kept getting which said something in lines of: ”Your latest USB-device isn’t connected correctly or doesn’t work”. I traced the problem to my mouse because it kept connecting and disconnecting when I was playing games so I read a guide online which told me to delete/uninstall all of my Universial Serial Bus controllers, which I did. After a restart I didn’t get the error, but my keyboard wouldn’t work since that.

The keyboard itself is working fine, tried connecting it to my laptop and worked like a charm, I have the Steelseries Apex RAW 300. I even tried switching the USBs around on my computer just in case that it was that one USB port that was broken but the keyboard still wouldn’t work, and my other devices (mouse, headset, webcam etc) works, regardless of where I put them in.

I tried reinstalling, uninstalling drivers for the keyboard (using the Steelseries Engine 3 & 2) and tried updating my computer. Now here is the weird part:

When I go under Device Manager, I can see my keyboard, when I use Steelseries Engine I can change the lighting level of the keyboard and even under connected devices I can see my keyboard. When I go into BIAS-mode I can use the keyboard, but it somehow gets blocked/disconnected when I have to login to my computer. Also this applies to all keyboards I tried connecting from a different Steelseries Apex keyboard and a normal Dell-keyboard, both works fine on other computers but not on my PC.

If anybody can direct me towards a fix it will be much appreciated!

I have restarted the pc many times, still no luck

I have a problem like this as well on my original Steelseries Apex. Does the keyboard work for a period of time, then flash off/back on to have no functionality at all? Or does it just straight up not work even if you unplug it or plug it back in?

straight up doesnt work, have tried the plug/unpluging in all my usb ports, but doesnt change or work
