I’ve recently started to have this issue where all the wires and wireless connections having no access to internet. I have gotten a new modem, no success. I will some times have a few moments of internet and then nothing. I contacted my ISP and technicians came over but they couldn’t find anything wrong, and they would leave because there was a moment when the internet works, and they thought that the problem was fixed but as soon as they leave the problem is back. I tried rebooting the modem countless times, there are no outages in the area. The only thing that wasn’t check was what the technicians call the “main line” or “main box” because it was nowhere to be found.

You may ask for a Line Test results from your ISP.

If you have changed the Modem / Filter and the Master Socket or the Main Socket, then this usually is an issue with the DSLAM or the BOX outside the property.

Arrange an engineer to check the wiring.

Intermittent problems are the hardest to troubleshoot. If u know your CAT5 from twisted pairs, your MAC vs IP, DNS vs DHCP, ask away your questions, because we are going to pepper you with archaic jargons. Otherwise you need professional help.
